What’s special about toddler bed mattresses?

If you're choosing a toddler bed and mattress for your child, then comfort and safety should be the priority. Toddler mattresses are 2 feet 3 inches wide and 4 feet 6 inches long (140 x 70 cm), which is the ideal fit for our cot beds.

Around 12 to 18 months is a good time to consider transitioning your child from a cot to a toddler-sized mattress, but trust your instincts and flex this timing as you see fit to best support your child. With the extra room, your toddler can stretch out and experiment with different sleeping positions.
